Introduction

Being jovial and friendly are some of my best qualities since I am an overly social person who enjoys the company of others. I am looking forward to making new friends in this class, and learning new skills that will enable me to communicate more effectively, be it at work, school, or at home. One of my major weaknesses in communication is not being able to adequately capture the attention of my audience. Whenever I am speaking to people, I notice certain behavior that portrays lack of attention and boredom. While I try as much as possible to keep my audience engaged, most of the time my audience fails to capture the key points that I communicate about during a speech or group address. However, I possess writing skills that are quite good, and as such, I prefer communicating with people through writing. Many people think I am a quiet person, mostly because of my calm demeanor around new faces. My ability to fit in any social group and adapt to new environments makes me unique.
